He Notched up 250 british movies including Hell Drivers,Too Many Crooks,The Gift Horse,
Interpol,The Green Helmet and Dry Rot.

Moved to BBC & ITV in the late fifties and early sixties with Hancock's Half-Hour,Taxi,
Citizen James,George and The Dragon,The Cliff Richard Show,Dee Time,Two In Clover and
of course is Bless This House.

Sid is always a great performer with the famous stars including Liz Fraser,Joan Sims,
Barabra Windsor,Violet Carson,Patrick McGoohan,Roger Moore,Tony Hancock,Peter Sellers,

12:58pm 04-19-2008 Nigel Wilson: A great character actor. I cannot find a site anywhere that tells of his stage career. In the same year he made The Lavender Hill Mob Sid was appearing in Kiss Me, Kate at the London Coliseum, playing one of the gangsters (with Danny Green, the heavy of The Ladykillers fame).

11:00pm 03-01-2008 Michelle: Sid James rox to the max!! My grandfather always told me about what a terrific actor he was.- and he really ALWAYS will be one of the greatest actors in history. His laugh still fills the room and he will alwys live through his fans. i hope that we can all pass on our love for him to our children, just as my grandfather has passed on his appreciation for sid to me, so that sid james may be cherished forever.

He is the best actor in the world i love him so much. RIP You could all ways have a laugh and joke with sid james.
